This track was inspired from the views driving back home past midnight through the I-5 highway, feeling fatigued and ready to go to sleep. There is a distinctive beauty about driving when it is during the night and you drive past the bright white highway lights. For me, driving is an outlet to let go of any thoughts or worries for a short amount of time, and I wanted to convey what my mind feels like during those moments through this track. The track begins with the start of the car’s engine, which is the start of the journey. Then, the plucking sounds has been added with reverb to convey the feeling of blur that I feel at the end of the day. The sequence of notes following that gives more rhythm to the track and adds more layers and texture to the track, which creates a dynamic flow to the piece. Along with those also include a low frequency wave mimicking the sounds you hear when other cars drive past you, thus creating an environment similar to reality. Finally, towards the end, the sounds soften and you hear the sounds of the car locking, indicating the end of the journey to start another one.
